Student scientific conference «World economy in the XXI century: Globalization and regionalization»
May 17, 2018, Department of Regional Economics and Geography holds a student scientific conference «World Economy in the 21st century: globalization and regionalization» aimed at intensifying students and young researchers’ activities in the field of the main trends in the development of the world economy in the 21st century - globalization and regionalization.
During the conference it is planned to discuss the following theoretical and practical scientific issues:
1. Economic aspects of the development of urbanization and urban settlement systems in different regions of the world. Features of metropolitan agglomerations of different levels in the context of globalization. Ways of state regulation of social and economic development of cities.
2. Socio-economic state policy in Russia and abroad. Possibilities and practice of applying world experience in regulating territorial and sectoral development of the economy in Russia. Effectiveness of the implementation of regional policy in the Russian Federation and countries of the world.
3. Modern features of development of branches and spheres of economy of countries and regions of the world. International business and foreign economic activity of companies in Russia and other countries of the world. Innovative ways of economic development of enterprises.
More than 60 participants are expected.
