The school will bring together researchers from academic and industrial communities from different countries to discuss developments and prospects for cooperation in the sphere of applied probability theory and applications, distributed computer and telecommunications networks, mathematical modeling, methods of management and optimization of distributed systems.

Geography of participants: Russia, Latvia, Canada, Sweden, Great Britain, USA, Poland, Belarus, Germany, India, France, Italy.

Theme (agenda) of the event:

  • analytical methods in probability theory and their applications (queuing systems and networks, reliability and risks, branching processes, stochastic differential equations);
  • computational methods in probability theory and their applications (limit theorems, probabilistic and mathematical physics, Markoff processes, computational methods and models);
  • asymptotic analysis methods (mathematical statistics, asymptotic methods, random walks, applications to natural sciences).
