About the event

The topic of the school will be focused on environmental quality assessment in urban areas. This event provides an opportunity for the formation of professional skills in the following areas:

  • air and water quality management;
  • waste management;
  • assessment of the environmental components’ quality by bioassay.

The content of the program includes lectures and master classes by leading RUDN specialists, field trips to the solid waste landfill and an incinerator.

An extensive cultural program has also been prepared for the participants of the Winter School. It includes visits to cultural and historical monuments that are significant for the international community, which is designed to contribute to even greater interpenetration of cultures and provide an opportunity for informal communication among winter school participants.
