XX International conference “Modern Issues of Environmental Management Ecology”
25-27 April, 2019, the Ecological faculty of RUDN in cooperation with Vernadsky Environmental Foundation, Information and Analytical Center for the Protection of the Reserve of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. A.D. Sakharov International State Ecological Institute of the Belarusian State University and Vytautas Magnum University (Kaunas, Lithuania) hosts the XX International conference “Modern Issues of Environmental Management Ecology” aimed at discussing and finding solutions to current problems of ecology and environmental management, testing the research results of scientists and students, searching for international partners and working with schools to create continuity in environmental education and to prepare a pool of potential applicants. According to the results of the conference, a collection of scientific papers indexed in the RISC will be published.
The conference is annually attended by experienced and beginning scientists from various subjects of the Russian Federation (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Altai Territory, Arkhangelsk Oblast, Trans-Baikal Territory, Udmurt Republic, Tyumen Oblast, and many others), as well as from near and far abroad (Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus, Armenia, Indonesia, Ecuador and many others).
On the agenda - environmental management and sustainable development (geoecological aspects of environmental management; environmental geochemistry; rational use of natural resources), population ecology and community ecology (structure and dynamics of population numbers; succession processes in ecosystems; key factors of the ecological niche of plant and animal species; behavioral ecology and biocommunication; influence of anthropogenic factors on the state of ecosystems); applied ecology (economic and legal foundations of rational nature management; problems of implementing HSE-management, problems of human ecology; mathematical modeling of socio-ecological-economic systems; a round table "Planet without waste" and many other challenging events.
