English language in University: modern tendencies in teaching techniques

29 January interuniversity academic and research conference “English language in University: modern tendencies in teaching techniques” took place at the faculty of Humanitarian and Social Sciences on the base of Foreign Languages department. Modern technologies in teaching foreign languages and on-line technologies in teaching English at higher school became the topic of discussion at the conference. The relevance of the conference is determined by the growing importance of English in the educational process and by the increasing number of students who are interested in preparing for and passing international English tests in universities. English professors from leading Moscow universities and supervisors of the representative office of “McMillan Publishers” in Moscow Stephen Bullon – international expert in the field of teaching English, and Lindsay Warwick, the author of the course of study “Skillfull” took part in the conference.
