RUDN students and Russian Space Systems Ltd. will build new technologic sputniks

25 January, A.Tyulin, General Director of Russian Space Systems Ltd. and RUDN Rector V.Filippov had a joint meeting to strengthen scientific-practical cooperation. RSS and RUDN Institute of Space Technologies (RUDN IST) are planning to build technologic sputniks and satellite systems, train specialists for earth distant probing and elaborate a number of other projects.
In the frame of short and long-term educational programs students will learn to process the Earth distant probing data thus meeting the demands of the labor market. Meanwhile, RSS experts will undergo refresher training in RUDN. The University will join efforts with the Scientific Center for operational Earth monitoring and RSS to work out joint programs both in Russian and English languages.
A. Chursin, Director of RUDN IST said that the role of space technologies in the world is growing very fast and this field needs highly - qualified specialists making the cooperation between RUDN IST and RSS tremendously important due to high employability of IST graduates.
This year RSS is also planning to set up «Agroterminal- Union State» for agriculture lands inventory and plants control in the territory of Russia and Belarus. The results will be presented in March at the Union State Interacademic Council.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
