RUDN took a worthy position in the two authoritative ratings. The results of national universities rankings (Interfax) and rating agencies RAEX are published.
In 2016, in the National ranking of universities (Interfax) RUDN rose from 10th to 7th position in the parameter "Educational activities" and took the 15th place in the parameter "University Brand".

According to the rating "100 Best Universities of Russia" (Rating agency RAEX) RUDN takes 21st place.
Information Services Group "Interfax" has been generating the ratings of the Russian Federation of universities since December 2009. The project aims to develop mechanisms and procedures for the independent Russian university evaluation system and their educational programs, improving the competitiveness of the Russian educational system, research and technological entrepreneurship.
The rating agency RAEX is Russia’s largest international credit rating agency with 19-year history. Until the present moment the agency awarded more than 800 individual ratings. This year, the agency has prepared the fifth annual ranking of universities.
The aaniversary medal to the 100th anniversary of V.F. Stanis is awarded to RUDN current and ex-employees and students for: significant contribution to the university development; long-standing commitment to maintaining ties with the university; fruitful cooperation of Russian and foreign organizations, scientists and public figures with the university.
RUDN University employees’ work and contribution to the development of the university cannot go unappreciated. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia recognizes talented university employees and present them with various departmental and state awards.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
