April 20, the delegation of Free University Brussels arrived at RUDN. Free University Brussels is in TOP-200 in QS rating (World University Rankings).
Negotiations were held at the Faculty of Philology and Law Institute. As a result Jan Cornelis, Vice-Rector for international work announced that RUDN University will be included in the list of priority partnership universities. The two universities will have joint publications, do research and use results in the economy and public life of Russia and Belgium.
Cristian Titgat, senior lecturer of the Department of the German language expressed her willingness to deliver a one-year course of lectures at the Faculty of Philology.
Following the agreements in spring 2017, the universities plan to hold a joint conference on multiculturalism and migration.
Free University Brussels and Peoples’ friendship university of Russia are also planning to expand academic exchange applying to Erasmus+, to a new program of European education.
In 2023, the Public Council of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science conducted an independent assessment of the quality of conditions for educational activities. More than 300 universities and branches provided information on the quality of education.
