Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia launches two grant programs — “BE MASTER!” and “PROJECT YOURSELF!” to support foreign graduates of Bachelor, Specialist, and Master programs from other universities applying to paid mode of RUDN University Master programs this year. The names of 190 winners will be known on 10 october — they will receive from 100 to 130 thousand rubles.

To participate in the competition, candidates must submit an application on RUDN University website until 1 october — fill out a questionnaire and attach a portfolio.

A prerequisite is to be a foreign graduate of another university, have an average score of 4.2 (out of 5) and enter a contracted form of study.

In the portfolio for the “BE MASTER!” project, you need to attach the text of an essay and a video about the reasons for choosing RUDN and a specific Master program, as well as attach documents about your scientific, professional, volunteer or socially significant achievements. Each participant will be invited to undergo an online interview with representatives of the admissions committee. The minimum passing score will be 80 out of 100 possible. In 2020, a participant can apply for 3 Master programs.

160 winners of “BE MASTER!” project will receive a certificate for 100,000 rubles. The grant can be spent on accommodation on the RUDN campus, medical insurance and partial cover of paid tuition.

The “PROJECT YOURSELF!” project is aimed at forming international teams of talented students to implement projects — when representatives of different Master programs come together to solve a specific interdisciplinary task. In 2020, RUDN University offers two projects: “Environmental Design of a Sustainable Urban Environment”, where Masters of the Faculty of Ecology and the Academy of Engineering and the Agrarian and Technological Institute can participate, and “Human Rights in the Global Economy”, which may be of interest to students of the Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Law Institute and the Faculty of Economics.

This project is different in that it is necessary to justify the choice of the project, and you can also specify entrepreneurship experience. Participants will be able to apply for 2 Master programs in two different competitive projects. The minimum passing score will be 75 out of 100 possible. 30 holders of the “PROJECT YOURSELF!” grant will receive a certificate for 130,000 rubles.

The grant can be spent on accommodation on the RUDN campus, medical insurance and partial cover of paid tuition.
