School for applicants in magistration «Laws of physics - laws of nature»
The grand opening of the school took place on May 18, 2020 in a remote format, in which more than 60 bachelor students of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia participated.
The school for applicants to the magistracy was opened by Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Honorary Professor of RUDN University, Professor of the Institute of Physical Research and Technology (IFIT) Rybakov Yuri Petrovich. In his welcoming remarks, Yuri Petrovich specified that the main goal of holding a school for applicants to master's programs is to unite research students and help them broaden their horizons and deepen knowledge and skills in the field of physics in order to further enter the magistracy of RUDN University, as well as informing the scientific community about the results of ongoing research on contemporary physical research.
The plenary session was attended by RB Mukharlyamov, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor, Honored Worker of Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, professor at the Institute of Physical Research and Technology (IFIT) with a report “On the construction of equations of dynamics of a given structure”, then presented a report “ Generalized Gelfand – Ito – Schwartz functions and quantum mechanics of Dirac electrons and Einstein photons ”, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the RUDN University Beilinson AA And at the conclusion of the plenary session, scientists from the Institute of Terrestrial Magnetism, the Ionosphere and the Propagation of Radio Waves made them. N.V. Pushkova of the Russian Academy of Sciences Maslov EM, Kutvitsky VA with the work "Deflection of light in an oscillating dark matter halo".
The second part of the graduate school was devoted to the presentation of master's programs at the Institute for Physical Research and Technology (IFIT RUDN). And also students of the Faculty of Physical, Mathematical and Natural Sciences of RUDN University presented research papers:
• Gorbunova I.S. presented the results of tuning the wavelength of a solid-state laser at a constant temperature and varying the injection current, and at a constant current and temperature variation.
• Shutov M.R. spoke about the study of a powerful helicon discharge for use in plasma space engines.
• Kurkula Yu.E. presented a method for processing the interference pattern obtained by passing light through a Fabry-Perot interferometer (standard) and captured using a camera.
• Sokhina E.T. spoke about the work on the adjustment and calibration of the diagnostic system, and also presented the results of studies to determine the hardware function of the M833 monochromator spectrograph.
In the course of the school, the most important tasks of modern physics were considered, the problems facing scientists were identified, and prospects for further scientific research were outlined. The main scientific directions considered at sectional meetings were: problems of theoretical physics, theoretical mechanics, plasma physics and the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter, optoelectronics and integrated optics.
The school was of great importance for all participants who not only presented the results of their scientific work there, but also gained the opportunity of direct live communication with teachers and researchers of RUDN University and other organizations.
