Scientific-methodical seminar «Linguodidactic questions of linguistics»
December 14 at the Institute of Foreign Languages RUDN in the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages held a regular meeting of the scientific and methodological seminar "Linguodidactical issues of linguistics." A report on "Methods of expressing preferences in the English language in the framework of speech etiquette" was made by the senior lecturer of the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages S.A. Blinov. The report examined ways to express preferences in English; Lexical and grammatical models of the transfer of the preference value are highlighted; The specificity of linguistic units used in utterances with a preference value is revealed.
