Successful employment: students of the Faculty of Science learn to undergo interviews and write CVs
Under the guidance of Natalia, students studied the case “Coming late for an interview”, as well as different questions that are often asked at the interview by recruiters.
Students wondered what general questions are usually asked at the interview, which competencies are evaluated, what can be said at the interview, what must be indicated in the resume.
During the master class, participants prepared their CVs. The speaker noted that drafting a CV is useful because it allows you to collect your thoughts, evaluate your experience in the professional field and become more confident about your abilities. As a result, the applicant gets a more adequate self-esteem, knows his/her advantages and disadvantages.
All participants of the event have mastered certain skills in the compilation of CVs, in interviewing, and in the future they will be able to apply their knowledge in practice.
Natalya Sorokina, summing up the meeting, noted:
“Don’t grudge your time to write a resume - it will pay off in the future when looking for job and further employment,” she wished all the students a successful career.
