International conference in foreign languages “Modern paradigm of scientific knowledge: relevance and prospects” brought together undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students of different faculties from 20 countries

20 countries, 241 participants, 7 languages — оn April 4, the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University organized and held online the 11th International Multidisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference in Foreign Languages “The Modern Paradigm of Scientific Knowledge: Actuality and Perspectives”.

The Conference convened participants to explore theoretical and practical aspects of issues and challenges in various areas of scientific research in the light of modern scientific paradigm.

The Conference focused on current issues of scientific research in various disciplines: agricultural science, medicine, economics, linguistics and intercultural communication, etc. Basing on their Ph.D. theses and research projects, speakers presented papers and gave presentations that illustrated utility of interdisciplinary approach in the context of modern scientific paradigm.

The Ph.D. students, students and young scholars from different countries were involved in scientific discussion in foreign languages on the themes of the papers and presentations. During the course of the interactive discussion many questions concerning scholarly developments and evolving trends in corresponding fields of knowledge in different countries were directed to the speakers.

“What truly set this conference apart was the sense of community that permeated every aspect of the event. From the lively discussions that took place during the breaks to the impromptu conversations that spilled out into the hallways, there was a palpable sense of camaraderie and shared purpose that made the conference feel like much more than just an academic event. All in all, I came away from the conference feeling deeply impressed and inspired. It was a true testament to the power of interdisciplinary inquiry and the transformative potential of rigorous intellectual exploration. If you have the opportunity to attend a future iteration of this conference, I would highly recommend doing so”, — guest speaker Diana Babayan (Armenia), Lecturer, Department of Language Theory and Intercultural Communication, the Russian-Armenian University (RAU, Yerevan).

“I liked the presentation on medical graphite very much. It is very cool that our University holds such an interdisciplinary conference, which broadens students’ horizons. I hope that such events will be held in the future and I will have a chance to take part in one of them”, — Eldanis Rasul-Zade, first-year student, Department of Landscape Design and Sustainable Ecosystems, Agrarian and Technological Institute, RUDN University.
