UNESCO delegation presented «Task Force on Teachers» program in RUDN

On the 30th of August UNESCO delegation preceded by the Head of Department of teachers’ training, Head of the secretariat of «Task Force on Teachers» program, Mr. Edem Adubra visited RUDN.

The delegation comprised Director of the Institute of Information Technologies in Education of UNESCO Mr. Tao Zhan and Ms. Natalia Amelina, Head of professional teachers’ training and network cooperation section. Mr. Edem Adubra presented the program «Task Force on Teachers» where he told about the tasks of the program, management structure, defined the main directions of the educational policy in the field of teachers’ training, the role and degree of participation of individual states in the implementation of the program, the procedure and conditions for its financing, the format of the supposed participation of the Russian Federation in the program.

At the end of the meeting with the teachers, Rector of RUDN Vladimir Filippov received UNESCO delegation. The parties exchanged their points of view on the problems of teachers’ training, re-training and refresher training. They also discussed the possible format and directions of cooperation between RUDN and the Institute of Information Technologies in Education of UNESCO, including in the framework of the «Task Force on Teachers» program.

RUDN Institute of Environmental Engineering is hosting the winners of the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards 2024 state scholarship program for the second time. The participants chose between 126 universities from 23 countries, including the USA, Canada and Australia. 25 best Indonesian students chose Russia and came to Moscow for the first time.

A delegation from Ghana visits RUDN University

RUDN University welcomed a delegation of three Municipal Assemblies of the Republic of Ghana - Korle Klottey, La Dade-Kotopon and Ledzokuku. At the meeting the parties discussed the results of the educational school “Solid Waste Management and Circular Economy”, held at the Institute of Ecology of RUDN University this year.
