In September, workers of the Simulation Training Center of the Institute of Medicine of RUDN University took part in the “Domestic innovations in simulation training” competition.

In October, the RUDN delegation took part in the Fourth Asian meeting of National Associations of graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities. 

“Religion against terrorism” conference took place in RUDN in the frame of the initiatives of RF and Kazakhstan leaders V.Putin and N.Nazarbayev. The main organizers- Peoples’ friendship university of Russia wit the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan, RF President’s administration, RF Federal meeting Federation Council, RF MFA and other organizations.

The master classes are taking place within a Student's week of the National award in the field of development of public relations " Silver Archer" from 11 to 17 October in RUDN Institute of World Economics and Business.

The project covers the universities of Voronezh, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Samara, St. Petersburg and Yaroslavl this year.

Student's week "Silver Archer" takes place at RUDN IWEB for the second time.

The students, studying  "Advertising and Public Relations", "Marketing", "Journalism" etc., and also  secondary school students of specialized classes are invited to participate in the project in RUDN.

October 6, RUDN hosted round table “Migration issues in the context of world integration processes” for experts from Austria, Germany and Russia and representatives of education and science foelds, A.Dolzhikova, RUDN Vice-Rector for Continuing education, A.Blinov, expert of the Institute of linguo-civilizational and migration processes, councilor of the Executive Director of “Russky mir” foundation, addressed the meeting.

October 10, 10 am, The scientific-practical students' conference “New product development. How to create a stir in the market» is to be held in RUDN Institute of Foreign Languages at the Department of Theory and Practice of Foreign Languages.

The goal of the conference is to broaden students' mind in the field of methods and ways of product and brand development in the market

English-speaking students are invited to take part in the conference.
English is the working language of the conference.

On 27-29 September 2016, RUDN University held the first in-person meeting of the International Advisory Board. The Chairman of the meeting was Ian Sadlak, President of IREG - International Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence. 

On 4 October 2016, at RUDN University Vladimir Filippov, Rector of RUDN University, met Yoshihisa Baba, President of Soka University (Japan). Friendly meeting over tea summarized the successful two-year cooperation and outlined further plans.

On 3 October, the CIS Advisory Board on cooperation in Education meeting was held in Moscow at the Chamber of Commerce conference hall. The event was organized in the framework of the IV CIS Conference of Teachers and Education Workers.

On 26 September, over 60 people, including teachers and students of RUDN University Institute of Law, Faculty of Economics, Philological Faculty and Faculty of Humanitarian and Social Sciences attended the round-table session. Special guests were experts from France. 

On 21 September Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Russia Abdel Hafiz Nofal visited RUDN University. As a result of successful negotiations the agreement on development of cooperation between Palestinian universities and RUDN University was reached. 

All-Russian Interuniversity Scientific-Practical Conference “Prevention and Approaches to Treatment of Oral Mucosal Lesions in Patients Receiving Radiation and Chemotherapy” will be held on 29^th September.

The event is organized by Russian Roentgenoradiology Research Center and RUDN Medical Institute RUDN  in cooperation with Russian Association of Oncologists and Russian Society of Head and Neck Tumors Specialists.

Themes of the Conference:

·         Prevention of oral and maxillofacial complications in patients receiving radiation and chemotherapy;

·         Xerostomia. Clinical and treatment-related features;

·         The role of dental training for successful combined treatment;

·         Modern technologies and medical support of necrobiotic processes;

·         Radiation and bisphosphonate-related necrosis of the jaw, diagnostic features and approaches to treatment;

·         Conformal radiation therapy as a factor minimizing maxillofacial injures.

Tutorial scientific workshop «Modern diagnostic techniques of Sjogren syndrome»
