International Scientific Seminar “FUNCTIONAL MORPHOLOGY OF TISSUE MICROENVIRONMENT”
Recently, the search for targets in the tumour cell which could be attacked by new anticancer drugs has reached its limit. Radically new approaches to antitumour drug therapy are required, in this regard tumour microenvironment being quite promising. Microenvironment is a full-fledged participant of oncogenesis, significantly influencing and in some situations determining the growth and development of tumour tissue. The key problems in the study of the microenvironment are intercellular interactions and functional interpenetration of tumour tissue and microenvironment cells. Based on the example of intercellular interactions and the influence of immune cells, the perspectives of spatial molecular profiling will be considered for the search of new targets, which are in demand in tumour drug therapy.
Organiser: Scientific and Educational Resource Centre “Innovative technologies of immunophenotyping, digital spatial profiling and ultrastructural analysis”.
Geography and level of participants: Russia, Belarus, Japan, Germany, Italy, etc.
Brief event description
