XI International scientific conference “ADVERTISING VECTOR 2017: new coordinates”
On April 11 - 12, 2017 in RUDN University was held the XI International scientific conference "ADVERTISING VECTOR 2017: new coordinates". The organizer of this scientific event is the Department of Advertising and Public Relations of the Institute of world economy and business (RUDN University).
The conference purposes were the discussing and research of the main trends for development of modern advertising and public relations, attention-getting of the public to advertising and PR (as scientific directions), activation of the students and young scientists’ creative potential.
More than 250 students and young specialists from Armenia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Congo, Latvia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation have participated in this conference. RUDN University young scientists, experts and students of "Advertising and Public Relations" and also professors interested in strategic development of training of new generation of professionals for business communications have participated in the conference.
Within the conference for all participants were organized plenary sections and sessions, master classes of the famous advertising practitioners.

On February 1-3, Moscow hosted the conference “Education Foresight: Revival of Traditions vs Declared Innovation”. The conference brought together 2,100 participants from 150 universities in Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. On behalf of RUDN University, Olga Mikhailovna Kozarenko, Associate Professor of the Institute of Foreign Languages, made a presentation.
On November 10, the 13th All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Means of Mass Communication in a Multipolar World: Problems and Prospects” was held at the RUDN Faculty of Philology. 78 researchers from leading Russian universities met at the same site.
5–7 October RUDN University hosted the conference “Commitment to Mental Health”. For three days, the invited participants of the event raised and discussed issues related to the social, psychological and medical aspects of the life of a modern person.
