13 November, 2017 Syuzanna Harutyunyan, Professor, Doctor of Stratingh Institute for Chemistry of Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Groningen, Netherlands, author of more than 50 works in the field of catalysis, Recipient of the Royal Society of Chemistry Homogeneous Catalysis Award (2017), Recipient of the KNCV Gold Medal (2016) told the lecture «Copper catalysed enantioselective synthesis of functional molecules: control over selectivity and reactivity» for students, postgraduate students and staff of the Faculty of Science.

Professor North has published over 160 original papers and holds six patents in the areas of catalysis using Earth abundant metals and carbon dioxide utilization.

7 November at RUDN University Faculty of Science was red lecture of the invited professor «How to build well-defined silicon materials». Invited lecturer: Masafumi Unno, Doctor, Professor of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology and International Education and Research Center for Silicon Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Gunma University, Japan, author of more than 50 works in the field of silicon chemistry.

On November 28, 2017 the official delegation of the Gadjah Mada University (UGM, Indonesia), headed by the rector Panut Mulyono, arrived in RUDN University.

November 28-30, the delegation of RUDN University headed by First Deputy Director of the Agrarian Technological Institute Petr Dokukin visited the University of Bejaia (Algeria) with a working visit.
