A Student of RUDN Law Institute Was Awarded a Scholarship Named after Anatoly A. Sobchak

Student of the Law Institute of RUDN University Irina Dremova won the competition for scholarship named after Anatoly Sobchak. The award ceremony was held on February 27 at the Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

This personal scholarship for future lawyers is assigned to full-time students who have high academic achievements (excellent marks for the entire period of study) and take an active part in research activities.

In 2017, RUDN University scientists constructed a new explicit second-order precision difference scheme using modern computer algebra methods for 2-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations (NSE) [1]. This year, our mathematicians used a new scheme [2] to construct a numerical solution to the Cauchy problem with initial data (for t=0) as satisfying the continuity equation. Scientists managed to achieve previously unattainable accuracy of the continuity equation.

A RUDN University student won in the Biotechnology section at the OpenBio Russian Forum of Biotechnology

At the end of September, the XII Russian Forum of Biotechnology was held. This is a major event that brings together representatives of science, business, and government to address the challenges of ensuring the sustainable development of the biotechnology industry and the country’s economy. The program included expert discussions, roundtables, presentations by industry leaders, workshops, and demonstrations of technologies and equipment.
