RUDN University will develop agriculture together with Rosselkhozbank

RUDN signed a cooperation agreement with Rosselkhozbank. To date, a roadmap and program for interaction between the bank and the university have already been developed. Thus, the RUDN Agricultural Technological Institute will act as an expert platform for the company, with which it will work on the development of the agro-industrial complex not only in Russia, but also in the world. Rosselkhozbank will open its scholarship program at the university, payments under which will be received by students of the Agricultural and Technological Institute of the RUDN University.

RUDN University was founded in 1960 to educate and train youth from Asia, Africa and Latin America. Today, its graduates - business leaders, scientists, public and government figures, including in the field of agriculture - work for the benefit of their countries. 1,600 students from 65 countries study at the RUDN University of Agriculture and Technology alone. Our university is a professional expert platform and extensive international experience.

“RUDN University has already established itself with high standards in the field of training specialists for the agricultural and industrial complex in Russia and in the world. In 2023, the university became the first in Russia and entered the top one hundred universities in the world in the subject area “Agriculture” in the ARWU Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects”, - Oleg Yastrebov, Rector of RUDN University.

Already, RUDN University is hosting joint events with the bank. Among them are olympiads on agrobiotechnologies, master classes, and conferences.

Unfounded generalizations and false conclusions: RUDN scientists have identified AI “hallucinations” in the diagnosis of mental disorders

Researchers from the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence at RUDN University conducted a large-scale study that revealed systemic errors in large language models (LLMs) when diagnosing depression based on text. This work, carried out in collaboration with colleagues from AIRI, Federal Research Center “Computer Science and Control” of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Ivannikov Institute for System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, and MBZUAI, not only identifies the problem but also lays the foundation for the creation of more reliable and secure tools for detecting depression and anxiety.

Rats and neurodegenerative processes: a junior researcher at RUDN University wins Academician A. P. Avtsyn Award

Alexandra Sentyabreva, a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Cell Technologies and Tissue Engineering at RUDN Research Institute of Molecular and Cellular Medicine at the Russian University of People's Friendship, won the competition for young scientists at the All-Russian Scientific Conference “Topical Issues of Morphogenesis in Norm and Pathology.” She was awarded the Academician A.P. Avtsyn Prize.
