The goals, objectives and essence of local self-government, the role and importance of local self-government in a democratic state, the impact of the European Charter of Local Self-Government on municipal development in the Russian Federation and many other topics are among those discussed by the members of the student research club at open seminars and lectures with the involvement of municipal authorities and practicing lawyers.

Student research club on International law

Our goal is to help you acquire practical competencies. The club holds its meetings once a month, and the most active club members participate in the annual international congress "Blischenko Readings". We cooperate with representatives of international organizations and our graduates (international lawyers).

"School of Practical Constitutional Law" (SPCL)

One of the main tasks of the school is to focus the students' attention on applied legal activity, that is, on the competencies most demanded and necessary for law practitioners. The main forms of the club events include master classes, scientific and practical seminars, workshops, intellectual games, trainings, round tables, etc. The student research club has its own telegram channel @gospravo, where the club posts the schedules of events and related topics, and current news of the legal and political life of the state is actively published and discussed.

Student research club "HISTORIAN OF LAW"

The student research club will help immerse in the historical and legal science, master the public speaking skills, become a participant in collective discussions in the mainstream of the current problems of the history of domestic and foreign state and law. The club meetings are held in the form of a "round table". We invite practicing lawyers and scientists as special guests.

Professional student association "Interpretation and translation in socially significant contexts."

The club will help you expand your theoretical knowledge of various aspects of translation, get acquainted with the activities of international translation organizations and the peculiarities of the translation service of the UN, the Council of Europe and other international structures. We will tell you about the particular features of consecutive and simultaneous legal translation.

Student research club "Actual problems of natural resources and urban planning law."

We are engaged in the study, analysis and assessment of topical problems in the field of natural resource and urban planning law. We will help develop professional and personal qualities, and master the skills of conducting research activities. You will take part in meetings with senior officials of government agencies and large organizations, experts and teachers of other universities, in the exchange of views on the enforcement of natural resource and environmental legislation and on other issues affecting the formation of a favorable environment for the population and sustainable development of territories.

Student Advisory Bureau of RUDN Law Institute

The Student Advisory Bureau has two goals. The first is to protect the rights and legitimate interests of Moscow and the Moscow Region residents. The Bureau provides free legal assistance to all those in need. The second is legal education of citizens. Students of the bureau independently conduct the reception of citizens: they explain the norms of material and procedural law, and draw up statements of claim, complaints, and petitions. The Student Advisory Bureau cooperates with IIS Legal Clinic Development Center.

Professional student association of administrative officers of RUDN Law Institute

At the meetings of the administrative law laboratory, you will take part in a business game-model of a government meeting or training on admission to the civil service. We will teach you how to independently analyze and assess the regulatory impact of normative acts, prepare proposals for improving draft laws and other regulatory legal acts, and help you conduct your first scientific research
