RUDN students acquire the skills of free communication in 2 foreign languages, the translation of oral and written texts of various styles and genres, learn simultaneous translation in business and methods of teaching foreign languages at all levels. Due to the fact that Russian and foreign students study together, they have a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience in communicating with native speakers, and in practice understand the main similarities and differences in languages, dialects, and pronunciation. Language classes are held in small groups, practicing not only traditional, but also interactive forms of classes using multimedia and online technologies.
Thanks to existing agreements for internship, students are invited to work as translators to major international sporting events, cultural, economic and political forums. Students also organize regular foreign internships for academic mobility programs, including Erasmus + program: Spain, France, Italy, Great Britain, Belgium, Poland, China, Japan, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, etc.
