Description of the Institute
The Institute of World Economy and Business is a structural unit of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University). The Institute celebrated its 28th anniversary in December 2018. The Institute has trained over 1,500 specialists in Economics, Advertising, Management and Marketing, Linguistics since it was founded. Our graduates occupy top-level positions in government entities, large international banks and transnational corporations.
Today the Institute has become the largest educational centre, one of the first educational institutions providing business-specialized training in Moscow and throughout Russia. It has been a member of the Russian Association of Business Education since its inception. It is a member of the Central and East European Business Schools Association.
In 2014 the bachelor’s programmes of the Institute of World Economy and Business were successfully accredited by the FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation of Programmes in Business Administration).
In 2015 an МВА programme was accredited by the National Accreditation Council for Business and Management Education.
In 2016 the bachelor’s programme “Advertising and Public Relations” was internationally accredited by the DEVA-AAC (DEVA-AAC is a ENQA member, it is registered on the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR), which means that it has demonstrated its compliance with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance).
One of the most important characteristic features of the Institute of World Economy and Business is its focus on the needs in business education not only in Russia but in the CIS, Asian, African and Latin American countries. Numerous links with RUDN University alumni working in most countries of the world are actively used in order to improve the educational activities of the Institute of World Economy and Business, which confers a significant advantage.
The Institute of World Economy and Business offers an opportunity to complete training under its double diploma programmes.
