Scientific seminar «Spectral theory of differential and difference operators»
Analysis of articles by Matthias Eller and Ilya. M. Karabash 2021 ArXiv 2021. For Maxwell operators in Lipschitz domains, the following are described all m-dissipative boundary conditions. For this Riesz bases in trace spaces are constructed and a modified version of the boundary triplet is introduced.
Seminar “Mathematical modeling of the thermal explosion”
In this review lecture, we will get acquainted with the basics of the theory of thermal explosion, starting with the classical works of Semenov and Frank-Kamenetsky, and also consider some more modern results on the interaction of a thermal explosion with convection.
Seminar “Emotional intelligence as a driving force in the study of foreign languages in higher education”
The purpose of the event is to demonstrate the study of the relationship between the level of development of a teacher’s emotional intelligence (a tutor / lecturer of a foreign language at the university) and the success of mastering a foreign language by students of linguistic and non-linguistic specialties in a higher educational institution.
Scientific seminar on functional analysis and its applications under the guidance of professors: A.V. Arutyunov, V.I. Burenkov and M.L. Goldman
The talk will give integral inequalities for entire functions of exponential type, give a definition of Nikol'skii-Besov spaces using entire functions of exponen-tial type, and provide a proof of the embedding theorem and the trace theorem.
Seminar “Optimal Placement of Social Digital Twins in Edge IoT Networks”
In next-generation Internet of Things (IoT) deployments, every object such as a wearable device, a smartphone, a vehicle, and even a sensor or an actuator will be provided with a digital counterpart (twin) with the aim of augmenting the physical object’s capabilities and acting on its behalf when interacting with third parties.
Seminar “Forecasting epidemics of acute respiratory infections in Russian cities considering the population structure and the immunity levels”
The talk will address short-term forecasting of severe ARI dynamics in Russia via compartmental and multiagent models, with influenza and COVID-19 as case studies, and the connection between the immunity formation and the consequent incidence waves of severe acute respiratory infections.
Seminar “Asymptotic behavior of solutions for the Chipot-Weissler equation with free boundary”
In this talk, we consider the free boundary problem for the Chipot-Weissler equation. It is well known that global existence or blowup of solutions of nonlinear parabolic equations depends on which one dominating the model, the source or absorption, and on the absorption coefficient for the balance case of them. The aim of our investigation was to study the influence of exponents of source and absorption, initial data and free boundary on the asymptotic behavior of solutions.
Scientific seminar “On two-stream instability of states of dynamic equilibrium of a Vlasov-Poisson plasma”
We study the problem of linear stability of one-dimensional states of dynamic equilibrium of an infinite collisionless electrically neutral plasma in the electrostatic approximation - Vlasov-Poisson plasma.
Seminar “Boundary regularity for solutions of second-order elliptic equations with partial Muckenhoupt weight”
In this talk we will present our recent results on the boundary regularity for solutions of second-order elliptic equations with partial Muckenhoupt weight at a boundary point on the interface.
Webinar "Environmental problems of the area of Lake Baikal"
The webinar will be conducted by Vasily Borisovich Rozanov, representative of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, specialist of the department of regulatory and legal and organizational support of the federal project "Conservation of Lake Baikal" in the Moscow branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "UralNII Ecology".
World Soil Day
World Soil Day is held annually on December 5, starting in 2013, on the recommendation of the International Soil Science Society. It is celebrated in 177 countries around the world. Soil is a living resource that accounts for over 25% of our planet's biodiversity. Up to 90% of living organisms live or spend part of their life cycle in soil. Soil microorganisms can fight some contaminants.
Academic workshop “Renewable energy in Russia: prospects and challenges”
During the seminar, speakers will make reports on the current state of the problem of renewable energy sources in Russia and discuss with the event moderator the prospects for introducing the best world practices in the field of renewable energy in the Russian Federation.
Seminar “An axiomatic approach to human-body functional biodynamics”
The axiomatic theory kernel for further translation into models of specific complex-systems dynamics in health and medicine rests upon a separation of functional organization from material realization, and casts dynamic features of physiological function into mathematical equations from a phenomenological perspective.
