In the period 2007-2014, a number of events related to natural hazards, which caused significant damage, occurred in the South of Russia

The report will highlight the features of existing methods for measuring arterial blood pressure used in cardiology, the mathematical algorithms used to calculate the parameters of central hemodynamics, and the prospects for scientific research in this area.

In this report, we consider the use of database technology for the purpose of decision support based on the medicine information of patients with arterial hypertension.

Issues raised in the talk were previously investigated mainly for second-order differential operators. The case of higher-order operators has been studied much less. We obtain sufficient conditions for the stabilization of weak solutions of higher- order differential inequalities.

We consider mixed boundary value problems for strongly elliptic differential-difference equations and nonlocal mixed problems for elliptic differential equations.

We discuss a simple model describing a consumer/predator which, besides random dispersion, searches for food by moving toward the gradient of some chemical released by prey.

We discuss the problem of obtaining asymptotic representations for solutions of some differential and functional differential equations when the independent variable tends to infinity.

We study the effects of nonlocal control of front propagation in excitable media. As a generic example we consider Nagumo equation, which is a paradigmatic model of a bistable media in which one can observe front propagation.

We discuss the existence of ground-state solutions for the problem generated by the fractional Sobolev inequality in a C2-smooth bounded domain with the spectral Neumann fractional Laplacian.
