A seminar “An overview of the 5G network ‘The security threat, vulnerabilities and an analysis of solutions” will be held at RUDN University.

Speaker: Alsarkhan Mohammed Katan Ibrahim, 2nd year postgraduate student, RUDN University.

The development of revolutionary wireless networks will ultimately result in the availability of high-speed, low-latency connection for all aspects in daily life. 5G will be providing ubiquitous broadband access, enhance user mobility, and enable ultra-reliable and cost-effective networking of a large number of devices (e.g., Internet of Things (IoT)). Cloud computing, Software Defined Networking (SDN), and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) are the primary technical enabling developing potential usage in 5G. As a result, the network’s security and user privacy is critical. Due to the increasing number of devices and the range of services that 5G technology will supply growing about, these technologies have severe security difficulties, the network’s security and environmental has become more challenging, and it is essential to begin developing strong security solutions as soon as possible.
