14 December, RUDN Institute of Applied Mathematics and Communications Technology opens the first in Russia Laboratory of Advanced Research into 5G Networks and Internet of Things, that will be the major center for complex research of 5G networks and their applications. The laboratory will be a platform for joint research of mathematicians and engineers from Russia, USA, Switzerland, Finland and Czech Republic.

6 December, 2017, RUDN hosts a meeting of rectors and vice-rectors for international activity dedicated to «Development of Russian education system export potential» priority project. The meeting is organized by the RF Ministry of education and science.
