Languages and Translation in the Context of Intercultural Communication

On November 23, 2022, Chev. Prof. Mario Pace, (Ph.D. (Melit), Associate Professor, Head of the Department, Languages and Humanities Education, Faculty of Education, University of Malta, language consultant to the Minister of Education) gave lecture entitled “Languages and Translation in the Context of Intercultural Communication” within the framework of the academic and methodological online seminar of the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University held via MS Teams. The event attracted an audience of more than 80 guests.

The lecture was followed by an intriguing question and answer session which saw the participation of students and academics from the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University as well as prominent scholars and researchers from the Department of Language Theory and Intercultural Communication of the Russian-Armenian University (RAU, Yerevan).

RUDN medical students take two bronze medals at the Anatomy Olympiad in Minsk

More than a world map: Geographical dictation 2023 to be held at RUDN University

RUDN University will again become the most international platform for the Geographical Dictation, which will be held on November 19, in Russia and abroad. The dictation is held annually by the Russian Geographical Society on the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The key goal of the project is to popularize geographical knowledge and increase interest in the geography of Russia. Test your geographic literacy!
