International round table dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the writer Chingiz Aitmatov

On the 30 of March, within the framework of the 11th International Scientific Conference “Higher School: Experience, Challenges, Prospects”, a roundtable “Chingiz Aitmatov and the Culture of Peace: Toward an Intellectual and Moral Spiritual Dialogue” was held. It was dedicated to the writer's 90th birthday.

It was dedicated to the writer's 90th birthday. The guests of honor were Andrey A. Zolotov, Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR and a close friend of Chingiz Aitmatov, as well as the sister of the writer Roza Aitmatova, who participated in the discussion online. The co-organizers of the round table were the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation (Moscow, Russia) and Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan).

 The event was attended by the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), the Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation (Moscow, Russia), The Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg (Würzburg, Germany), the editorial board of the newspaper Neues Deutschland (Berlin , Germany) and Baku State University (Baku, Azerbaijan).

With a welcoming speech, the event was opened by the rector of RUDN University Vladimir M. Filippov, who noted the undoubted relevance of the works of Chingiz Aitmatov nowadays.

In 2017, RUDN University scientists constructed a new explicit second-order precision difference scheme using modern computer algebra methods for 2-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations (NSE) [1]. This year, our mathematicians used a new scheme [2] to construct a numerical solution to the Cauchy problem with initial data (for t=0) as satisfying the continuity equation. Scientists managed to achieve previously unattainable accuracy of the continuity equation.
