The sixth GreenTech Sustainable Development Acceleration Program starts accepting applications

The Skolkovo Foundation (VEB.RF), together with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation and the country’s leading industrial companies, announced the launch of the sixth cycle of Russia’s largest supplier ecosystem development program for industry, GreenTech Sustainable Development. Applications from developers of technological solutions will be accepted until October 20, 2025.

Over the six years of its existence, the program has transformed from an industry accelerator into a federal platform where an agenda for the sustainable development of the domestic industry is being formed. It is aimed at solving the strategic tasks of industrial enterprises through the introduction of cutting-edge Russian developments.

In the new cycle, the program expands its focus: the number of selection areas has been increased to five.

The partners are interested in finding technologies in the following areas:

  • Ecology;
  • Industrial safety;
  • Resource efficiency;
  • Production infrastructure management;
  • Biotechnologies for ensuring food security (a new direction this year).

Among the program’s partners:

  • Severstal,
  • EuroChem,
  • Helyx Group,
  • FINGO Group,
  • INTELKA Group of Companies,
  • Institute of Environmental Engineering, RUDN University.

“Industry is a driver of the country’s technological development, and the implementation of innovative solutions in key industries can ensure the rapid and effective achievement of the national development goals of the Russian Federation. Over the past six years, the GreenTech Sustainable Development program has become a working platform where the needs of industry meet the market offerings of Russian developers. As a result of the previous selection process, 68 projects were developed, and 22 of them are already in the stages of practical implementation,” said Nikolai Bulatov, Director of Energy-Intensive Production at the Skolkovo Foundation.

Participants in the 2025 program will have the following opportunities:

  • Direct access to industrial customers for the implementation of pilot projects.
  • Expert support for the development of solutions that meet market requirements.
  • The opportunity to apply for grant funding from the Skolkovo Foundation in the amount of up to 10 million rubles.

Successful Cases

The effectiveness of the program is confirmed by the real-world implementations of its finalists’ technologies.

A Skolkovo participant, REDsystems, has developed a portable diagnostic device for analyzing the energy parameters of diesel locomotive engines. The solution allows for 3-15 minutes of testing with a 99.5% accuracy, which creates a basis for predictive maintenance of equipment. A pilot implementation of the device is planned at one of the enterprises of Severstal.

SIMPLE COMPANY received a grant of 7 million rubles and successfully implemented its software product for managing the efficiency of production assets at the plant of the largest manufacturer of auto chemicals, Tosol-Synthesis. The integration took 5 days, and the economic effect over six months was 14 million rubles due to reduced procurement and 15% reduction in equipment downtime.

The development of the program’s finalist, DekStream, received support from Gazprom Neft and a grant from Skolkovo. This is a system for monitoring the separation of pipelines from foundation supports in permafrost conditions. As part of the pilot, the IoT platform was refined and specialized position sensors were created.

In total, during the implementation of the GreenTech Sustainable Development program, the organizers received more than 3,800 applications, and over 400 projects became finalists and were worked on with experts. More than a hundred technologies were successfully implemented at customer enterprises.
