The Philological faculty of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia hosts the XVIII Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Current problems of the Russian language and methods of teaching”.

This year’s conference will be devoted to the following issues:

  •  questions of the theory of language — related to teaching RFL;
  • methods of teaching various types of speech activity;
  • psychological aspects of teaching RFL;
  • the use of a linguoculturological approach to teaching, etc.

The program features 2 sections: plenary session and section meetings.

The purpose of the conference is to encourage students’ research work.

The conference is to contribute to solving the following tasks:

  1. expanding the scientific horizons of students, acquaintance with the general problems of science;
  2. formation of the methodology of scientific work among students;
  3. assimilation of the general principles of modern scientific research;
  4. developing skills of delivering a scientific report and participating in scientific discussions, etc.
