International pedagogical readings are organized annually by the Faculty of Advanced Training of Teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language (FATT RFL) RUDN University. Within the first pedagogical Readings (2016), a collective monograph “Interactive methods of teaching Russian and foreign languages” was published; the result of the second Readings devoted to the 50th anniversary of the FATT RFL was the monograph “Methods of teaching Russian (as a foreign language, as a second): history, current state, development prospects”.

Currently, there is an almost explosive increase in the incidence of cervical, vulvovaginal and crotch disorders in general, including precancerous and cancerous ones. In Russia cervical cancer is the second among cancer diseases among 15-44-year-old women. Such high relevance of the problem makes it incredibly important for the country as a whole to rapidly introduce in practice everything new that world science accumulates.

From October 25 to October 27, 2018 in Peoples' Friendship University of Russia there takes place the joint scientific conference "Finsler Generalizations of the Theory of Relativity (FERT-2018)" organized by Educational and scientific institute of gravitation and cosmology of RUDN and Research institute of hypercomplex systems in geometry and physics.

October 23-25 the Conference for journalists working for Russian-speaking mass media is organized in Berlin, Germany within the framework of the subprogram «Development and dissemination of the Russian language as the basis of civil self-identity and language of international dialogue» of the Russian Federation state program «Development of Education».

VII All-Russian Conference “Management of social innovations: experience problems and prospects” is aimed at discussing the most actual issues of public and municipal administration.

The great silk road (GSP) is one of the significant achievements of world civilization. Today it is a global economic, political and tourist project. The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has been conducting research on the silk road for more than 20 years. Hotel Business and Tourism Institute RUDN, an affiliated member of the World Tourism Organization, joined the UNWTO Silk Road working group and was actively involved in research in this area.

At the present stage of teaching Russian as a foreign language, the experience accumulated in various foreign establishments focusing on different groups of users becomes particularly valuable. The international conference "Russian Language in Foreign Educational Establishments" is aimed at analyzing the accumulated experience of teaching Russian as a foreign language.

The First Summit “5G Summit R&D Russia” was held in 2017 and became the first event in Russia providing a platform for joint work and exchange of ideas on new 5G technologies among sector leaders, innovators, researchers and the academic community. Particular attention at the First Summit was given to the perspective on long-term changes and innovations in the sphere of digitizing megacities, namely Moscow.
