III Russian Conference on the foundations of fundamental physics and mathematics
The conference will be attended by invited experts from RUDN University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a number of other research centers. During the conference, there will be discussed some scientific, conceptual and philosophical aspects of the modern physical picture of the world, such as:
Master-class "I would learn Russian only for that ..."
Presentation of the study of the Russian language by students from Sudan and Serbia (presentation and role-playing games). Venue: Secondary School No. 46 of the city of Moscow. The event provides an opportunity to communicate directly with employers, determine areas of further practical activity, and find out answers to questions of interest about further employment and work.
Master-class «New level of x-ray diffraction studies. Opportunities and prospects»
The masterclass is designed for students and scientists who possess basic crystallographic knowledge and who would like to acquire practical skills for refining crystal structures based on single-crystal X-ray diffraction data. Both novice and experienced users will benefit from the course and will enhance their knowledge of mathematical foundations of diffraction principles, computer software, and crystal structure determination. The course will cover the concepts of crystallographic analysis including point/space group symmetry, the use of reciprocal lattice to understand diffraction by crystals, and crystallographic experiment design.
Trainings, master classes on the "Hotel Service" program
Obtaining professional competencies in service of a hotel enterprise, studying guest service standards. During the event, students get the opportunity to communicate directly with employers, determine directions for further practical activity, and find out answers to questions of interest on further employment and work.
A series of lectures «Mechanisms of cancer growth, invasion, and progression: a biomathematical modeling analysis»
Research of the department is directed at the development of innovative mathematical models and simulation tools to detect organizational principles of selected biological systems. Researchers focus on "cellular systems" which possess a multitude of interaction mechanisms whose cooperative interplay guarantees in particular the development of organismic forms. Disorders in cell interaction can lead to diseases and malignant pattern formation (e.g. tumor growth). Important insights into function and regulation of biological systems can be gained by linking mathematical modeling and computational tools with biological/medical in vitro, and in vivo data. The staff work on interdisciplinary projects on the basis of local, national, and international cooperation. They develop the software Morpheus, a modeling and simulation environment for the study of multiscale and multicellular systems.
6th International Scientific Interdisciplinary Conference on Research and Methodology «Functional Aspects of Intercultural Communication. Translation and Interpreting Issues»
Goal of the Conference:To reveal the diversity of functional aspects of intercultural communication within the process of world education integration, to focus on translation and interpreting issues in the conditions of the modern society.
Master-class "Internship in "Deloitte" by the leading expert of "Audit" department Peshkova E."
Discussion of the internship procedure and further employment at Deloitte by the leading expert of the Audit department, E. Peshkova. The event provides an opportunity to communicate directly with employers, determine areas for further practical work, and find out answers to questions about further employment and work.
Professor Gunther Senft Public Lecture
He has been studying the language and the culture of the Trobriand Islanders of Papua New Guinea since 1982 and conducted field research on the Trobriand Islands for 45 months during 16 long- and short-term field-trips between 1982 and 2012.
Master class with the participation from the company “Zoi environment network”
The purpose of the event is to discuss the achievements of the company “Zoi environment network”. “Zoi environment network” is a non-profit organization that helps build sustainable societies through informed analysis, visual communication, and action. The problems that the company deals with are related to the fight against climate change, biodiversity conservation, waste disposal, water conservation, access to environmental information, etc. The event provides an opportunity to communicate directly with employers, determine areas for further practical activities, and find out answers to questions about further employment and work.
Kletskov Alexey «Mixed 1,2-azole heterocycles in homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis in aqueous media»
As a result of joint researches, methods for the synthesis of mixed heterocyclic ligands containing heterocycles completely different in electronic properties (for example, 1,2-azole-1,2,3-triazole, 1,2-azole-pyridine, 1,2-azole-pyrimidine) and their complexes with palladium and nickel were obtained. Palladium isoxazole-1,2,3-triazole complexes are such active catalysts for cross-coupling and reduction reactions in aqueous media that they can be used in trace amounts (1–10 ppm). For the first time, a promising and very active in catalysis of cross-coupling and reduction reactions hybrid bimetallic material based on Pd-Ni-B-L doped with palladium and modified with azole ligands [L - isoxazole-1,2,3-triazole(pyrimide) ligands] was developed.
Scientific seminar on functional analysis and its applications under the guidance of A.V. Arutyunov, V.I. Burenkov and M. L. Goldman and V.N. Rozova
Topic: Connection of inequalities for a maximal operator in Morrey-type spaces and inequalities for a Hardy operator for monotonically decreasing functions.
Scientific seminar on the differential and functional differential equation under the guidance of Professor A.L. Skubachevskii
Speaker: Malygina Vera V., candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor, leading researcher, Functional Differential Equations Research Center, Perm National Research Polytechnic University, Perm, Russia.
Lecture «Structure-based drug discovery: principles and applications in the main therapeutic areas»
Since the first protein structures were determined through X-ray crystallography in the early 1960s, the knowledge of the three-dimensional structure of therapeutically relevant targets has informed and usefully supported drug discovery.
Master-class "UNIDO Activities in Russia"
Master class from Svetlana Kazi-Magomedovna Erkenova, national expert of the UNIDO Center for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation. The event provides an opportunity to communicate directly with employers, determine areas of further practical activity, and find out answers to questions of interest about further employment and work.Master class from Svetlana Kazi-Magomedovna Erkenova, national expert of the UNIDO Center for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation.
