In September, a Cuban delegation comprising heads of 13 Cuban universities of the Republic of Cuba arrived in Russia to participate in the V Forum of University Rectors of Russia and Cuba. September 22, the Cuban delegation visited RUDN University.
4 scientific sections, more than 50 speakers and 500 participants from Russia, Belarus, Gambia, Germany, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands — for the first time, the “Food Quality Food Safety” conference was held in Astana.
The BRICS+ International Youth Forum “Sports Diplomacy: Finding New Solutions for New Opportunities” featured discussions on how sport helps develop relations between countries.

In August, experts from RUDN Institute of Foreign Languages visited Samarkand State University named after Sharof Rashidov. They gave lectures and conducted master classes for colleagues and students.
RUDN students of economics returned from Zambia not only overwhelmed with emotions, ideas and impressions, but also brought something valuable — an ethnic book that added a new language to the Russian State Library — the Bemba language! Thanks to the book, the total number of languages in the RSL has increased to 269.
In August, RUDN University and Rosatom held the first Meeting of Alumni of Russian and Soviet universities “Contribution of graduates to the development of the region” in Myanmar. 60 participants from Russia, Myanmar and Bangladesh shared their experience in the fields of nuclear technology, energy and information technology. The meeting took place at the Atomic Technology Information Center.
Feed a giraffe, see a hippopotamus, take a photo with lions and plunge into the world of economics — this is the to-do list of RUDN University economics students who spent two weeks at a summer school in Zambia. Together with colleagues from the Zambian university, students studied, created and defended projects, also travelling.
RUDN University is the only university that represented Russia at the international educational exhibition “EDUGATE 2023” in Egypt, which brought together 90 leading universities from 12 countries from Algeria and Morocco to the USA and Germany.
In August, a delegation from Ghana met with the Russian Union of Potato and Vegetable Producers, an industrial partner of RUDN University. Representatives of the Korle Klottey Municipal Assembly (Ghana), led by the mayor of Accra, visited the agricultural company “Virgin Alliance” in the Tula region. The excursion was organized by the Agricultural and Technological Institute of RUDN University.
While someone is on summer holidays, RUDN students of economics keep studying. They went to hot Zambia at the invitation of the Graduate School of Business of the University of Zambia for two weeks of the summer school “Russia-Zambia: Economic Opportunities and Prospects”.
July 24-25, RUDN University became a platform for the International Youth Media Forum “Russia — Africa: through the prism of education and communications”, which brought together more than 200 young journalists and researchers from 35 countries of Africa and other regions of the world.
