In February, RUDN dentists took part in the AEEDC Student competition 2023 in Dubai. Students from 8 countries: Bahrain, Georgia, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Russia and Singapore competed in professional skills.

RUDN scientists have improved titanium dental implants with graphene nanosloyers

RUDN researchers have created and tested a method for processing titanium dental implants. It turned out that theanoslos of graphene on the surface of titanium improve its interaction with stem cells,which are placed on the implant so that it better "takes root".Thanks to this method ofprocessing, stem cells are better kept on the surface, multiply and turn into the desired cells.

"My calling in life is to help people", student Keturah Musonda

A student of the Institute of Medicine at RUDN University, Keturah Musonda, was brought to Russia by a family loss that changed her life entirely. Back in her home country Zambia, she had to bury her brother: he passed away from a disease that modern medicine has long learned to control.
