The entire pedestal taken by RUDN University postgraduate students — winners of the International Forum
The event featured several sections analyzing new promising areas of science-intensive technologies, ways of developing the most important industries for the world economy based on modern digital and management technologies, including taking into account the consequences of the coronavirus. The Forum-Congress was held from 1 to 25 December 2020, on the basis of the “International Academy of Technological Sciences” Public Organization.
The event was attended by over 35 young researchers from RUDN University, the Russian State University of Oil and Gas named after I.M. Gubkin, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Russian State University named after A.N. Kosygin and others.
RUDN University was represented by postgraduate students of the Department of National Economy of the Faculty of Economics:
Timofey Mazurchuk, 1st year postgraduate student, topic “Complex solution for increasing economic efficiency in the coal industry”.
Damir Kudryakov, 2nd year postgraduate student, topic “Pricing methods in the Russian gas market: types, features and prospects in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic”.
Sergey Gavryusev, 3rd year postgraduate student, topic “Technological drivers of development of small-scale power generation in Russia”.
Today, postgraduate students are working on dissertation research under the guidance of Maxim Chernyaev, PhD of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Advisor to the Dean of the Faculty of Economics on International Cooperation, Deputy Head of the Department of National Economy.

For almost three decades, the International Academy of Technological Sciences has remained the main international discussion platform for industrial technologies in the interests of the gas, oil, energy and communications industries. The Forum-Congress of this year has once again demonstrated the possibility and effectiveness of broad international cooperation of scientists-technologists, representatives of government authorities and large business structures.
The third-year bachelor students in Ecology and Nature Management Shkopkina Angelina and Mustafina Kamila who are also mastering the professional conversion course "Translator" at the Institute of Environmental Engineering not only had the opportunity to show all their language skills and abilities, but also to become the best in interpreting among 48 other participants in the International Interpreting Competition in Minsk (the Republic of Belarus).
4 days of work, 4 sections, 270 participants — RUDN University environmentalists from Nigeria won the competition of young scientists in the nomination “Best poster report” among the participants of the conference at the Russian University of Chemical Technology named after D. Mendeleev.
On June 27, within the framework of academic and methodological online seminar of the Foreign Languages Department of the Agrarian and Technological Institute of RUDN University, invited lector Angelo Loreti (Senior Lecturer, Department of Philosophy of Language and Communication, Faculty of Philosophy, Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU)) spoke on “Philosophical foundations of “semantic indeterminacy” in translation”.
