May 25, RUDN Department of Mass Communications hosts the international conference “The role of global mass media in the changing image of globalization”.
The main purposes of the conference are to provide a common forum for experts of diverse background and disciplines to come and exchange information and ideas, to recommend subsequent development of research and attract public attention. Also it is a forum for scientists, researchers and all the people working in diverse fields of mass media - broadcasting, film making, video games, audio recording and reproduction, Internet, blogs, RSS feeds, printed media. The conference includes effectual keynote lectures, workshops, symposia from scholarly professionals in the field of Mass media and communications which provide a forum for academia, industry, regulators and researchers to come together to discuss the latest trends, technologies and innovations that fosters the future research for effective communication.
The main goal of the conference is to identify and systematize the current changes in the field of mass media and mass communications.

May 19, 4.30 pm, RUDN Faculty of Economics Department of economic-mathematical modeling hosts V annual scientific-practical conference of young researchers “World tendencies and prospects of innovation economy development”.
The conference is aimed at activating research of undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate students and young researchers, developing their communicative skills and supporting specialists successfully working under conditions of innovation economy.
Young researchers from Russia, USA, Japan, Germany, Belorussia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Tajikistan and other countries will discuss a broad spectrum of problems of formation and development of innovation economy and review prospective tendencies of practical realization of innovation changes in different spheres of business.

May 17, 3.30 pm, at the RUDN Faculty of Science, LII All-Russia scientific conference on dynamics, physics of particles, physics of plasma and optoelectronics takes place. The conference will work May 17 – 19 and will be devoted to current issues of physics and mechanics.
The conference is aimed at summing up experience and revealing the most topical directions of research in dynamics, physics of particles, physics of plasma and optoelectronics, joining the efforts of Russian and foreign specialists interested in the development of science and higher education in Russia. The following sections will be working:

May 17, 2 pm, Round table “Teaching migrants’ children in Russian schools: challenges and solutions” takes place in Rector’s hall. Considering the social importance of developing the system of teaching, adaptation and integration of migrants’ children in the RF in the frame of fulfilling the orders of the RF Government Russian language Council, RUDN University has elaborated Recommendations on improving the system of teaching migrants’ children.
Representatives of the RF Ministry of education and science, directors of Moscow schools and experts in the field of testing Russian as a foreign language take part in the discussion.
