Laboratories and centers

Bacteriology Laboratory

The Laboratory is a modern platform for studying the human body’s microbiota: from identifying and characterizing the immunobiological properties of commensal bacteria to creating next-generation probiotic preparations.

Bioengineering Laboratory

The laboratory develops innovative methods for treating and diagnosing various human diseases using the CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing system, as well as various delivery systems for genetic constructs.

Educational and scientific laboratory “Resource-saving technologies and microplastics”

The laboratory conducts research on developing methods for producing biologically active substances using modern resource-saving technologies. The laboratory also serves as a training facility for students enrolled in the English-language Master's program in Bioenergies and Biorefineries.

Laboratory of Chemistry of Coordination Compounds

The laboratory conducts research on the development of methods for the production of hybrid nanocomposite materials, as well as the analysis of their physico-chemical and biological properties. The materials being developed are environmentally friendly and biodegradable, and can be used in modern pharmacology, the food industry, and engineering (for example, in liquid separation processes, as well as sorbents).

Laboratory of Complex Compounds Chemistry and Laboratory of Platinum Metals Chemistry

The research is being conducted in the laboratories to develop methods for the synthesis of coordination compounds of platinum metals with sulfur-containing ligands and to study their properties.

Laboratory of Numerical Simulation and Automation Measurements

A unique scientific and production site for the development of automated control systems that can be used to control technological and research processes in various fields of science and technology: from creating a microclimate to plasma chemical synthesis plants.

Laboratory of Plasma Physics

The laboratories study processes, phenomena and their patterns in plasma media, processes of resonant interaction of electromagnetic radiation (RF and microwave ranges) with magnetically active plasma.

Research Laboratory “Nonlinear and Nonlocal Problems for Partial Differential Equations and Applications”

The laboratory’s work is aimed at developing qualitative research methods for nonlinear and nonlocal equations. The laboratory was opened thanks to the victory in the megagrant of the national project “Science and Universities”. The team of S. M. Nikol’skii Mathematical Institute of RUDN University, led by S. B. Kuksin, a leading scientist in the field of partial differential equations and their applications to mathematical physics, received support.

Research Youth Laboratory “Cellular Biotechnology”

The Laboratory aims to develop new drugs for the treatment of neurological diseases and to test the initial efficacy of existing drugs.

Scientific Laboratory of Physicochemical Research Methods

The laboratory is designed for scientific purposes – the study of phase interactions in the solid phase, the synthesis of new complex oxide compounds with promising characteristics for further use in various fields and the study of their physicochemical properties.
