Technologies for reducing the risk of accidents during the search, exploration, production, processing and transportation of raw hydrocarbons
Analysis and assessment of accident hazards are one of the main elements of the industrial safety management system of oil and gas facilities whose operation is carried out with an increased risk of accidents associated with the processes of extraction, transportation, storage and processing of raw hydrocarbons and the sale of gas, oil and petroleum products. Accident risk management at oil and gas production and refining facilities significantly reduces potential damage to oil and gas companies, including through insurance. Thus, the objective of the study is to develop methodological support for risk analysis in the practice of industrial safety management of hazardous production facilities of the oil and gas complex. This goal is achieved by solving the following main tasks: development and implementation of an industrial accident risk analysis methodology; analysis of the methodological support; risk analysis of accidents at hazardous production facilities; creating a methodology for quantitative risk assessment of accidents for typical hazardous production facilities; development of risk assessment algorithms to determine the frequency of inspection of hazardous production facilities.
Development of technologies for the use of alternative fuels
In the unsteady modes of operation of internal combustion engines (ICE), fuel consumption increases and the environmental performance of exhaust gases decreases, therefore the study of operating modes leading to inefficient operation of the engines is an important task. The use of alternative fuels with changes in engine adjustments significantly reduces emissions of harmful substances - hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and particulate matter. The objective of the study is to examine the environmental and economic (in terms of fuel consumption) performance of internal combustion engines using alternative fuels as an additive to the main one on unsteady ICE operation modes. Research objectives: to identify alternative fuels, as additives to the main one in order to use it in internal combustion engines; to determine the rational percentage of alternative fuels as an additive to the main one according to the degree of influence on the environmental and economic indicators of the ICE; calculate mathematical models for the use of alternative fuels, as additives to the main one, using an initial pressure regulator (IPR); to evaluate the environmental and economic indicators of ICE in unsteady operating modes when using alternative fuels as an additive to the main one. Area of application: internal combustion engines of transport and power plants, involving the use of alternative fuels.
