Since 2017, the Ecological Faculty of RUDN University has been actively cooperating with Huber Technology LLC: the organization is a venue for students’ summer practical training sessions.
The history of the institute began on March 28, 1952, when a preserve commission was organized under the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences. Since then, one of the main tasks of the institute has been the comprehensive conservation of the natural environment.
Practical training sessions for the Ecological Faculty students are held there annually (Ecology and Nature Management direction, etc.) In addition, on November 16, 2019 the Department of Forensic Ecology with a course in human ecology (RUDN Ecological Faculty) gave a lecture on “Practical Application of Forensic Ecological Expertise” for the students studying in the field of "Ecology and nature management", "Energy and resource saving processes in chemical technology, petrochemicals and biotechnology." The lecture was held with the participation of representatives of the All-Russian Research Institute of Environmental Protection (All-Russian Research Institute of Ecology). The purpose of the lecture was to familiarize students with the practical issues of organizing and conducting a forensic environmental examination.
"Kurchatov’s Institute " is a center of domestic chemical science, carrying out research, innovation and educational activities at the level of modern achievements in order to develop and realize the scientific, production and human resources of high-tech industries to ensure intensive sustainable development of a society with a market economy based on fundamental and applied knowledge.
RUDN University and Kurchatov’s Institute have been cooperating for a long time. Excursions at Kurchatov’s Institute are conducted for the university students, and there are also some joint projects (for example, the master's program
"Engineering and physical technologies in the nanoindustry"). The organization conducts practical training for the Ecological Faculty students (the direction of "Ecology and Nature Management") and others. In addition, since 2012 a joint program «Nanotechnological educational initiative" has been implemented.
OOO Gazprom Transgaz Makhachkala is a 100% subsidiary of PJSC Gazprom, which provides gas transportation to consumers in the Republic of Dagestan, the republics and territories of the RF North Caucasus.
The company regularly conducts practical training for RUDN students of environmental specialties. In particular, students from the Department of Environmental Monitoring and Forecasting are sent to Gazprom Transgaz Makhachkala.
Since February 2014, the enterprise has been involved in the protection and maintenance of protected areas, the setting up of environmental and educational infrastructure, the conservation of biodiversity and the development of environmental education.
As part of its enlightenment activity, SEBI "Mospriroda" organizes lectures and practical training for RUDN students of environmental specialties, in particular, students of the Department of System Ecology, the Ecological Faculty.
OJSC Russian space systems (RSS) is one of the leaders in the global space instrument engineering. It has been developing, manufacturing, testing, supplying and operating on-board and ground-based equipment and information systems for space applications for 70 years.
In addition to conducting regular practical training for the students of the Ecology and Nature Management direction at the Ecological and other faculties, Russian Space Systems Holding (a part of Roscosmos State Corporation), together with the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), is launching a large-scale experiment on the practical training of future rocket-space industry specialists. Within the framework of this project, RUDN University students will have the opportunity to participate in the management of the TNS-0. No. 2 nanoclass spacecraft created in the RSS and interact with the company’s specialists to work out tasks for modeling work processes on board based on real telemetry information from the spacecraft.
At present, the reserve preserves natural complexes typical of the Meshchera lowland, studies the natural processes and phenomena, conducts background monitoring of the environment, as well as experimental work to assess the impact of various forms and degrees of economic use of natural complexes. It is also engaged in the education and upbringing of the population.
The reserve has been conducting joint events with RUDN University for several years, among which the main place is taken by the organization of practical training for the students of the Ecological and other faculties of RUDN University.
Voskresenskoe Povetluzhye Natural Park is the first and only natural park in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. It was created on June 10, 2008. This is a specially protected area of the Voskresensky district, allocated along the coast of the Vetluga River. It has a rich natural and cultural heritage. In 2005, the International Ecological Fund granted the Voskresensky district the status of ecologically clean territory.
Since 2014, the Natural Park has been interacting with RUDN University: in addition to organising practical training sessions for the students of the System Ecology Department of the Ecological Faculty, excursions, lectures and other events are held there.
In 1970, the Academy of Sciences of the USSR organized the Institute of Agrochemistry and Soil Science in Pushchino with the aim of developing studies of soils and their functions in the biosphere, recognizing the global nature of the environmental crisis. Currently, the Institute is engaged in studying physicochemical and biological processes of soil formation, issues of spatio-temporal soil organization.
In 2016, on the basis of the Department of Landscape Design and Sustainable Ecosystems of the Agrarian and Technological Institute, RUDN University, the Center for Mathematical Modeling and Design of Sustainable Ecosystems was opened. It cooperates with many specialized organizations, one of the leading places in the list of which is held by the Institute of Physics and Technology, the Russian Academy of Sciences. The center is engaged in analyzing the parameters of sustainable development of urban ecosystems in the European part of Russia: from local monitoring to regional modeling. In addition, the Institute of Physics and Technology, the Russian Academy of Sciences, is one of the main bases for the practical training of the RUDN Ecological Faculty.
