Permanent research workshop “Foundations for a Green Sustainable Energy”

As part of the activities of the International Thematic Group "Energy" of the BRICS Network University, on October 19, 2024 at 11:00 Moscow time, the second meeting of the permanent international research seminar "Foundations for a Green Sustainable Energy" will be held remotely. The topic of the seminar is «Innovative Tools for Bioeconomy: The Case of Microalgae Production».

Questions centered on the following important areas will be addressed:

• A history of scientific thought about microalgae: From obscurity to global potential.
• Biofuel, space travel, and other unexpected applications of microalgae.
• Fuel production using microalgae.
