On March 25, 2026, the scientific center “Smart technologies for sustainable development of the urban environment in the context of global changes” of ATI RUDN University will organize an international scientific seminar “Ecological and Economic Approaches to the Assessment of Ecosystem Functions of Green Spaces in Moscow”. The event will be held in a mixed format on the Yandex Telemost platform. The working language is Russian.
he scientific seminar will focus on contemporary methods for the quantitative assessment of the contribution of urban green infrastructure to maintaining a favorable environment and supporting the sustainable development of a megacity.The seminar is planned to include discussion of research findings on modeling the cooling effect of Moscow’s urban green spaces, assessing the dust-deposition capacity of green spaces using the RUDN University campus as a case study, and estimating carbon stocks in the aboveground biomass of urban green assets.
