I International scientific-practical conference “Cultural and pragmatic aspects of the mediatext as an object of media linguistics” (in English).

April 28-29, RUDN Faculty of Philology, Department of mass communications for the first time hosts I International scientific-practical conference “Cultural and pragmatic aspects of the mediatext as an object of media linguistics” (in English).

The conference is aimed at revealing and systematizing current changes in mass communications and mediatexts study.

Among main topics are current mass media development tendencies, journalist ethics and media formation, media systems of different countries, media research and media course analysis.

English as the working language allows professionals from various countries of the world to take part in the conference. Among participants are linguists and journalists from RUDN, MSU, RSHU and other Russian HEIs as well as researchers from Sweden, Latvia, Croatia, Poland, Great Britain, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, China and Australia.
