The Department of Foreign Languages at the Institute of Environmental Engineering, RUDN University, invites you to participate in an interdepartmental scientific seminar dedicated to intercultural and inclusive dialogue in the modern classroom.
The modern educational environment is characterised by an increasing diversity of cultures, languages and backgrounds among students. This requires teachers to develop the necessary skills to foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages effective dialogue and learning for all students.
The seminar will examine methodological approaches and practical solutions for organising work effectively in diverse student groups, bringing together students with different cultural, linguistic and educational experiences.
Participants will discuss strategies for fostering inclusive communication and techniques for supporting students and adapting teaching materials. They will also explore ways to develop intercultural competence in a multilingual environment.
The speakers are Elena Yudina, Doctor of Sciences (Sociology), Professor at the Department of Sociology and Media Communications, Elena Terentyeva, Doctor of Sciences (Philology), Professor at the Department of Sociology and Media Communications, Natalia Shlenskaya, Candidate of Sciences (Chemistry), Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication, Russian State University of Social Technologies.
The seminar participants are professors at the Departments of Foreign Languages, RUDN University.
The purpose of the event is to improve the quality of teaching and the faculty's methodological work, and to facilitate the exchange of experience and effective teaching practices in the field of inclusive and intercultural education.
