International Expert Board Meeting
On February 7, 2020, a meeting of the International Expert Board will be held at RUDN University. It is planned to discuss the implementation of the recommendations of the Board on improving the competitiveness of leading universities of the Russian Federation among the world's leading scientific and educational centers received by the University in 2016-2019. During the meeting, experts will share their views on the development of the University’s digital educational environment, reorganization of educational programs, development of cluster cooperation and the identification of priority research areas, including in the context of developing the University’s strategy until 2025.
The International Expert Board of RUDN University unites leading world experts in the field of higher education. The meeting will be attended by Jan Sadlak, former president of the International Observatory of Academic Ranking and Excellence IREG; Hans de Wit, Director, Center for International Higher Education, Boston College; Piotr Dutkiewicz, professor at Carleton University; Willie Jäger, Professor, University of Heidelberg; Wolf-Ferdinand Wieland, professor at the University of Regensburg; Stefan Ngo May, Vice President, Strategic Development, University of Nice, Sofia Antipolis.
As part of their visit to Moscow, members of the International Expert Board will participate in the international research conference «Living values of the university in globalizing world», as well as in the Gala evening dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.

The International Expert Board was created in 2016, to provide expert support for key management decisions within the framework of the competitiveness program (Project 5-100), to select strategic development directions, international positioning of the university and promote the interests of RUDN University in the international academic environment.
