Seminar “Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) powers the future of 5G/6G networks”
With the recent advances in the telecommunication industry, the main requirements of next generation systems become challenges. Unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), is one of the main an-nounced use cases of the fifth generation (5G) cellular system and is announced as an enabler of the six generation (6G) cellular system. UAVs have many applications in varying fields such real-time surveillance, assisting network coverage in 5G systems, and remote sensing applica-tions.
International Akhanov Readings – XXV
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) with the joint participation of RUDN Institute of Foreign Languages (Moscow, Russian Federation), Al-Farabi Eurasian Research Center of Istanbul University (Turkey, Istanbul), Aitmatov Academy (London, Great Britain), Taraz International Innovation Institute (Taraz, Kazakhstan) for the 25th time holds the traditional scientific and methodological conference International Akhanov Readings – XXV.
XX International Symposium on Psycholinguistics and Communication Theory "Russian Psycholinguistics: Results and Prospects"
RUDN University together with Lomonosov Moscow State University is holding the XX International Symposium on Psycholinguistics and Communication Theory "Russian Psycholinguistics: Results and Prospects". RUDN University invites leading researchers from different cities to participate in the event, as well as to enhance its academic reputation. The guests of the university are planning to take part in the international symposium as experts and key speakers, make reports at the plenary session and participate in breakout sessions.
Scientific-methodological workshop "Creating an educational electronic dictionary for students of non-language specialties"
The Commission on Foreign Languages of the RUDN University is holding an interdepartmental scientific and methodological seminar with an external speaker at the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The speaker is: Ph.D., Butenko Yulia Ivanovna (Bauman Moscow State Technical University) with the report "Creating an educational electronic dictionary for students of non-language specialties ".
Scientific seminar “The second boundary value problem for differential-difference equations with variable coefficients on an interval of integer length”
We consider the second boundary value problem for a second-order differential-difference equation with a difference operator with variable coefficients on an interval of integer length.
Scientific seminar “Radioecological protection of the population in a potentially radon-hazardous territory”
More than half of the dose from natural sources of radiation is created by radon and its daughter decay products. The radon entering the buildings is released mainly from the soils lying at the base of the foundation.
Scientific seminar “Modes of consciousness in the early phenomenological essays of J.-P. Sartre”
Although the "phenomenological period" (from the mid-1930s to the early 1940s) occupies a relatively small place in Sartre's extensive intellectual biography, it was at this time that his characteristic style of philosophizing and a fundamentally antinaturalistic approach to psychic reality developed. In the early philosophical essays of this period, such as "The Transcendence of the ego" ("La Transcendance de l'Ego", 1937), "A Sketch of the theory of emotions" (Esquisse d’une Théorie des Émotions, 1939), "The Imaginary" (L'Imaginaire, 1940), the basic concepts of Sartre anthropology are also formed, such as such as "facticity", "lack", "néantisation", "active passivity". An analysis of the key themes of these works, especially Sartre's theories of emotions and imagination, will help to understand the specifics of Sartre's approach to phenomenology and the pathos of his "rebellion" against Husserl's transcendentalism.
Scientific seminar "Modern problems of the geoenvironment"
The scientific seminar "Modern problems of geoecology" is held quarterly. At the upcoming seminar, technogenic pollution based on anomalous geochemical fields will be discussed, as well as ecological and geochemical features of the soils of the Karadag Reserve, which are the most important modern geoecological problems with the involvement of young and foreign scientists.
Scientific and methodological seminar “Linguistic and didactic questions on linguistics”
There is increasingly strong evidence that students who assess each other’s work and then engage in related reflections, discussions, and negotiations benefit mutually from the process. In this practical seminar Keith J. Topping provides suggestions for implementing effective peer assessment across many classroom contexts and subjects, offers pre- and in-service teachers a variety of teaching strategies to best fit their particular students and university environments along with straightforward tools to evaluate peer assessment’s impact on their classrooms.
Meeting with Master Graduates on Postgraduate Studies, Programme 47.06.01 - Philosophy, Ethics and Religious Studies
Postgraduate studies in philosophy attract two types of people who link their future with the sciences. The first choose philosophy as their major occupation in life long ago, and for them postgraduate studies are a natural extension of their path. The latter come to philosophy as a graduate student, having been educated in other fields.
Scientific and methodological seminar “Topical Issues of Social Pedagogy, Psychology and Management of Developing the Human Resources of Society (Social Management)”
The speaker considers the issue of the strategies and tactics of a romantic communicative personality in situations of romantic communication in Russian and English linguistic cultures.
Round table "International Climate Day"
Every year on May 15, our planet unofficially celebrates an environmental event named as International Climate Day, which is a response to the call of meteorologists to protect the climate as an important resource that affects the well-being of current and future generations.
Scientific seminar “On the Possibility of a Dual-Natured Self and Two Conceptions of Consciousness in Indian Philosophy”
Ned Block of NYU in the mid 90s drew a distinction between two concepts of con-sciousness — between access consciousness and phenomenal consciousness — based on western philosophy and neuroscience.
International Scientific Seminar «IoT technologies for ecosystem monitoring: towards a new era in urban ecology»
During the seminar, we will consider the prospects of using sensors in the assessment of ecosystem services, public monitoring, and management of green infrastructure. Experts and participants will discuss topics such as the use of dust sensors, audio sensors, portable weather stations. Separately, we will consider the issue of civil science projects, the organization of projects in the format of an Open laboratory.
Seminar “Leveraging Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) as an Effective Implementation Approach of Zero-Trust Architecture in Enhancing Security in the SDN-Enabled Modern Campus Network Infrastructure”
Network softwarization presents a breakthrough in designing modern networks and providing a myriad of new network services and operations. Software-Defined Network (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV) exemplars play an essential role in this transformation. SDN, NFV, and integrated SDN/NFV frameworks gain significant momentum in the sense of network security, depicting key enablers towards the on-demand protection mechanisms provisioning.
