About partner:
The University was first established in 1893 as an education institution in New Mexico. The first president was the famous archaeologist Edgar Lee Hewatt. In 1902, the institute was transformed into the New Mexico Pedagogical University and later to the New Mexico Highlands University in 1941 as a result of its expanding role beyond pedagogical education. Today the University offers graduate and master’s programs in arts, science, business, education, and social work.
