Educational Process
The postgraduate program is aimed at training highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff capable of research in the ENT field and in related branches of science and higher education, the formation and development of competencies in accordance with the professional standard. It includes introductory lectures; a large number of practical classes at the departments of the medical institute, in scientific organizations and medical healthcare institutions; conducting research on the relevant profile using modern techniques; analysis and interpretation of scientific research data; preparation of the final scientific research contributing to the creation, expansion and development of scientific knowledge; teaching in higher educational programs within training programm.
Practice
Graduate students are intensively immersed in the study of the specialty on the first year of study. Students study the full range of academic disciplines, go through educational and industrial practice in the process of training. Graduate students successfully mastered the program present a scientific report on the main results of their scientific work and pass the state final certification. It allows them to qualify as a “research assistant”.
Career
Graduates of the postgraduate program in the specialty “Diseases of the ear, nose and throat” can carry out their activities in specialized health care institutions that provide medical care to people with ENT pathology, in multidisciplinary medical institutions that have specialized treatment and diagnostic departments in their structure, in ENT centers, in research laboratories, as well as in specialized institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science.
