Students study a balanced complex of professional (including: “Organization of tourist activities”, “Business planning in the tourism industry” and “Basics of tourism products”) and social (Sociology, Geography, Psychology of Business Communication) disciplines with a dominant share of practical and interactive classes, project work, business games, many of them are carried out directly in the travel agency and tour operator companies, as well as on the iconic tourist sites of Moscow and Moscow region.
The program includes practical training after each course, training at the enterprises of the tourism industry in Russia and abroad. Within academic mobility, students can study one or more terms in a foreign University partner at will.
Having received education at the Hotel Business and Tourism Institute, you can work in tour operator and travel agencies, state bodies of tourism management. You will be able to develop and promote interesting tours, participate in the development of tourism projects, manage the development of tourism in the regions and tourist destinations. The obtained level of education will allow you to open your own business in tourism at will.

The Institute implements the master's program “Planning and development of tourism”. Students are trained in forecasting, design and planning of tourist activities at the national, regional, local level and at the level of an individual enterprise, conduct research work within the selected topics, undergo practical training at specialized enterprises. The implementation of master's programs and the formation of competencies is provided by highly qualified research and educational personnel and extensive practical interaction with representatives of the tourism industry both at the Russian and international level.
