June 4, representatives of Peoples’ Friendship University participated in a meeting with Ambassadors of the countries of the Pacific Alliance. In 2011, leaders of Mexico, Columbia, Peru and Chile signed an agreement on the Alliance- a new economic formation, which has today become a rapidly developing organization in Latin America strengthening its positions in the world. At the meeting the Ambassadors told about the history and prospects of the Alliance and answered journalists’ questions. Special attention was paid to the creation of common economic zone to ensure free movement of goods, capital and services as well as work force migration. They also highlighted the growing competitiveness of the Alliance under globalization.

Student from SAR becomes Mister RUDN Association of African students - 2018

2 March, RUDN chose the King of Africa or Mister RUDN Association of African students – Zim Sankvella (SAR), first-year student of the Agrarian and Technological Institute who won over students from Cameroon, Chad, Namibia, Angola, Ethiopia and SAR. Vice-Mister was Binga Medesh (Angola), third place was taken by Naftalu Kuume (Namibia).
